Established in 2017, The Free Company is a Scottish multidisciplinary Design House based at the foot of the Pentland Hills. For three months of the year they welcome guests to dine in their seasonal restaurant hosted in a converted hayloft.
I was commissioned to capture the entire process of one of the Spring Series evenings. My aim was to find all of the little stories that go into these, from how the food was sourced and prepared to whose job it was to iron the napkins.
